Important Information regarding the new EU E-Cig Legislation

As many of you may now be aware there is significant new eu legislation about to come into force which will affect all E-Cig brands

The legislation, called TPD2, comes into force on 20 th May 2017. In summary this restricts the maximum strength of nicotine to 20mg; restricts max tank size to 2.0ml and specifies that all nicotine containing products must have health warnings on the packs.

We have reformulated the cartridges to take into account the reduction in maximum strength.

Below is a summary of Matchless products and how they are affected:

RED cartridges (24mg) - Discontinued
Replaced with: FULL tobacco cartridges (18mg)

BLUE cartridges (18mg) - Discontinued
Replaced with: FULL (18mg) or MEDIUM tobacco (12mg) cartridges

LOW cartridges (12mg) - Discontinued
Replaced with: MEDIUM tobacco (12mg) cartridges

ZERO cartridges (0mg) - Not affected and remain available

MINT cartridges (18mg) - Not affected and remain available

CHERRY cartridges (16mg) - Discontinued
Try: MINT or MEDIUM tobacco cartridges

VANILLA cartridges (16mg) - Discontinued
Try: MINT or MEDIUM tobacco cartridges

E-Cig Starter Kits & Accessories

Red & Blue Starter Kits - Discontinued
Replaced with: FULL STRENGTH starter kit featuring 2 x Full Tobacco (18mg) cartridges

E-Cig accessories – spare batteries and chargers - Not affected

Tanks & Accessories

Standard Matchless TANK and BA Tank kit - Discontinued after 20th May (Tank accessories will still be available)
Replaced with: New Guardian One Tank

All previous Tank Accessories Not affected (standard clearomiser tanks discontinued)

E-Liquids

Matchless E-Liquids range - Discontinued after 20th May
Replaced with: Newly packaged versions of FULL TOBACCO (18mg), MEDIUM TOBACCO (12mg) and MINT (12mg)
